DINO AI HUB
FAQ

Every question we get.

Pricing, setup, AI capabilities, integrations, and how the Dino AI Hub runs day-to-day in a real shop.

Cost & licensing

Is there a contract or monthly subscription?
No contract, no subscription. You buy the hub once and get a lifetime software license. The hardware and the right to run it are yours forever.
Are there per-user, per-call, or AI usage fees?
No per-user fees, and no fees for the local AI models running on your hub — voice, sales coach, dispatch logic, customer 360 all run on-hub for free, with no caps. Voice minutes and SMS messages are billed directly by Twilio at carrier rates; Dino RD&C doesn't mark them up. If you decide to connect a cloud-based LLM as a fallback for specialized workloads, you pay for that usage.
How much does Dino RD&C cost?
Pricing depends on the tier you need — call concurrency, installed languages, and number of units. Talk to sales for a quote sized to your shop.
How is the marketing module billed?
$5 per 1,000 outbound inquiries through the lead engine — calls, SMS, emails, DMs. Pay as you go on credits or buy a package up front. The AI compute is still free; you're only paying for the outbound delivery.
What does the lifetime software license cover?
Run Dino RD&C's operating system and software on any hub unit you've bought from us, for as long as you operate. One license stays with the business that bought it. The system can host multiple businesses under one owner for centralized management if you want it.
Can I transfer the license to another business?
No. The license stays with the business that bought it — it can't be sold or transferred to another company. One license, one business.

Setup & technical

Do I need IT staff to set this up?
No. The hub needs a stable internet connection (ethernet preferred over Wi-Fi) and a power outlet. That's the requirement list.
How long does onboarding take?
Two to three weeks. Each hub runs on custom-spec hardware that we order to your shop's needs — depending on the model, lead time can run up to three weeks. While the hardware is in transit to us, we walk you through a detailed questionnaire and train and test the AI agents on your scripts, customers, and workflows. The moment the unit lands at our shop, we install everything, run one final test, and ship it straight to you.
Does the Dino RD&C hub work without an internet connection?
The hub is the AI brain and the server hosting your database, dashboards, customer portal, and business website. Every interface runs through it, so a stable internet connection is required. Lose the connection and you lose access until it's back.
Can I keep my existing phone numbers?
Yes. Dino RD&C ports your numbers and routes calls through the hub so the AI voice agent and your team share one phone tree. We handle the carrier paperwork during onboarding.
What internet speed do I need?
At minimum 25 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up with latency under 100 ms. For shops running multiple concurrent AI voice calls, 100 Mbps fiber is comfortable. We measure your real-world speed during onboarding and tell you if it'll be a problem.
Who installs the hub?
You do. It's plugging a computer into power and an ethernet jack — that's the install. Anything weird, our support team handles it remotely.

AI & integrations

Which integrations are supported?
Stripe and Google Calendar today. QuickBooks is in the pipeline, and a native accounting module is coming soon — once it ships, you'll be able to skip QuickBooks entirely and keep everything on the Ai Hub.
Which modules are included?
Voice, dispatch, customer 360, inventory, sales coach, lead engine, marketing, and billing — all on one Ai Hub. Each module runs in manual, AI-assisted, or fully automated mode, and you set that per shop.
What languages does the AI voice agent support?
Each hub runs up to four languages concurrently. If you need more — say English, Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, and Arabic — you add a second unit to carry the extras.
How does the real-time AI sales coach work?
The coach listens to both sides of the call. It already knows your sales script, the customer's history, and how each rep tends to handle objections — so the prompts whispered in the rep's ear are tailored to the moment, not generic.
Can the AI book appointments and run follow-ups on its own?
Yes. The AI handles inbound calls and SMS, drops jobs straight onto the dispatch board, and runs the follow-up chain — quote, reminder, post-job survey — without anyone touching the keyboard.
Can I get custom features or integrations built?
Yes. Custom features and one-off integrations are on the table — talk to your sales contact and we'll scope it.

Operations & support

Where is my customer data stored?
On the hub at your shop — never in a multi-tenant cloud. You own the device and the data on it. Dino RD&C acts as a service provider only for what we need to run and support the product (Privacy Policy and DPA cover the details).
Are software updates included?
Yes, for life. The AI landscape moves week-to-week; we keep shipping updates so your shop stays ahead of the market, not catching up to it. Updates ride down to your unit automatically.
What happens if the hardware fails?
We replace the unit if it fails inside the warranty window. Your data restores from a local snapshot and you're back up the same day.
Can my technicians use the system from their phones in the field?
Yes. Every interface — owner dashboard, technician app, customer portal — runs in any modern browser on any device. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
Can I run multiple locations on one hub?
Yes. One hub can run multiple shops under a single owner, as long as your combined call traffic stays inside the unit's concurrency limit. Past that, you add a second unit and they share data.
What does "call concurrency" mean?
Concurrency is how many simultaneous voice calls the hub can handle. Each unit ships with a fixed concurrency tier; once it's saturated, the next caller queues or rolls to voicemail. If your shop grows past it, you add a unit.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing to cancel. You own the hardware and the data — if you ever decide to leave, you keep both. The hub keeps running on the software it has; you'd just stop receiving updates and support.
What about technicians with no cell signal at a job site?
The technician app works offline — log time, parts, photos, signatures, all from a basement or a dead-zone job. It syncs back to the hub the moment service returns.
Can I host my business website on the hub?
Yes. If you already have a site, we move it onto the hub during onboarding. Once it's hosted there, the hub watches traffic and ties marketing performance back to actual jobs and revenue — not just clicks.
Are the apps branded as Dino RD&C or as my business?
Branded as your business. The owner dashboard, technician app, and customer portal all carry your shop's name, colors, and logo. Customers see you, not Dino RD&C.
Is ongoing support included?
Yes. Lifetime support is included — email and AI agents handle the day-to-day. Shops that want a dedicated human reachable by phone can add Priority Support as a paid subscription.
